PEQUOT LAKES, MINNESOTA
Pequot Lakes is in the Northern region of the Brainerd Lakes Area. Surrounded by pristine lakes, beautiful golf courses, towering pines and quaint restaurants and shopping, Pequot Lakes is one of the most picturesque cities in Minnesota. Travel through Breezy Point, Jenkins and around the Whitefish Chain of Lakes and on the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway, 54 miles of wide-shouldered paved roads. Legend has it that Paul Bunyan rested his bobber on the Pequot Lakes water tower and would keep an eye on it while he rested in his oversized chair. The Paul Bunyan Trail runs from Brainerd to Bemidji with a stop right in downtown Pequot Lakes.
Inspired by vintage-style travel/national park posters of the 1930’s, Rich is working on a collection of original graphic poster art illustration showcasing current and historical Lake Minnetonka and beyond.
