Lake Minnetonka, Pontoon, Mound Poster by Rich Sladek (frame not included)
Lake Minnetonka, Pontoon, Mound poster print by Graphic Designer Rich Sladek.
Mound, Minnesota is a city in western Hennepin County 22 miles west of downtown Minneapolis with a population of 9,050 at the 2010 census. Mound is the birthplace of the Tonka truck, named after Lake Minnetonka. The Tonka Toys headquarters was originally in Mound, but moved in 1991 to be closer to an urban center. Mound celebrated its centennial in 2012.
Inspired by vintage-style travel/national park posters of the 1930’s, Rich is working on a collection of original graphic poster art illustration showcasing current and historical Lake Minnetonka and beyond.
