Charter Fishing, Lake Superior, Rock of Ages Lighthouse poster print by Graphic Designer Rich Sladek.
Waconia is a city in Carver County, Minnesota, which attracts visitors to Lake Waconia, a lake locally renowned for its fishing and recreation opportunities. Waconia is located on the southern shore of Lake Waconia, the 2nd largest lake in the 7-county metropolitan area. Coney Island is known for viewing and the nesting of bald eagles, egrets and blue herons. Development of Coney Island beginning in 1884 led to the growth of Waconia as a summer tourist destination, known as the “Paradise of the Northwest”.
Inspired by vintage-style travel/national park posters of the 1930’s, Rich is working on a collection of original graphic poster art illustration showcasing current and historical Lake Minnetonka and beyond.
